Today, I'm sharing an analysis of Zimbabwe's current digital landscape based on comprehensive website ranking data, revealing fascinating patterns about internet usage and local digital infrastructure. This is part 0 of a research series, triggered by an X exchange. When someone shared a top 10 websites screenshot from Semrush, we took a deeper dive and discovered a list of 10k most visited sites by desktop according to their metrics. We monitored the traffic over an 8-day period. Part 0 is a dipping of the toes, so to speak, with more analysis to follow. This initial analysis uses the first 600 websites, and Part 1 will dive into the traffic trends of weekend to work week transition.
